A Delicious Menu of Schitty Canoes
Cake is a 15.6 Old Town from 1993, we saved it from the shredder. Cake Spent it's life on Beaver Creek in Southwest Missouri. Cake is the shortest of our fleet but it is stable. It may have some oil cans and bad masking jobs from painting it but it is a tasty cake on the water. BOOK NOW
What would a Schitty Canoe be without having a poo themed boat in our fleet. Flat brown and textured in all the right places, the Number Two is for those who want to paddle and enjoy a good laugh at the same time. The Number Two was rented for the first time New Years day and shockingly it did not leak. We deemed it ready for 2020. BOOK NOW
Our Craziest Design yet, Makuahine' not only keeps with our schitty tradition of dented, banged up and obnoxious theme, she will turn heads on the river for sure. We tested this sucker on 11.9.19 and she was banged up on old 50's cars on the bank, drug across shoals and only scratched a little . Schitty tested/schitty approved. BOOK NOW

One of our favorite Sections of the James River. This section is around an 8 Mile Float "4-5 Hours" or longer if you make it. This Section is not as populated during the summer season as the upper James. Of course you will still run into groups of floaters partying and enjoying the river but, is still a little more tame on the partying. This section will start off with towering cliffs and wondering waters with tons of gravel bars and swimming holes. This section is known for great back eddys that allow you to wade in the water and do some fantastic fishing or chillin.
One of Southwest Missouri's favorite summertime float trip sections. This section of the James is a little more lively with fun groups of folks just out enjoying the river. You will see larger groups of floaters but nothing like some other major party rivers. This section has awesome gravel bars and amazing locals. You will be hard pressed to not pass a local and get a wave, hello or even a beer out of them. There is Hootentown Campground across the road from the access if you want to camp.
About as lazy as it gets. Right in the middle of Ozark Missouri sits the Finley River and the Mill Pond. This section of the river is basically a lake. You actually have 3 pools you can paddle up river to. This eliminates the need for a shuttle. Just show up to the park, throw your cooler in a Schitty Canoe and paddle up river to a couple cool gravel bars and spend the day swimming, wading, sunning and great river Shenanigans. This is about as easy as it gets and it's just minutes from Springfield and Branson.
River Floats are subject to Schitty Canoe & Show Me SUP's weekend SCHEDULE. Please book early to ensure a Schitty Canoe or paddleboard for your day.
